Crowds flocked Åre’s main square, seeping like rainwater into the shelter of the Betsafe tent. They came in hopes to meet the athletes with merchandise in hand ready for them to make their mark at the Betsafe signing session.
Between Jon’s RS6 and the jaw dropping Rebellion – clad in Gumball 3000 war paint – they snake, enduring raindrops to shake hands with the world’s best skiers. At the tables, with pens in hand, sit names like Joss Christensen, Jesper Tjader, Oscar Wester, Jon Olsson himself and a handful more of the industry idols scribbling away at posters, hats and whatever else people had to throw their way.
